TOWN OF TAYCHEEDAH COMPREHENSIVE PLAN

Comprehensive planning is an orderly, open approach to determining local needs, goals, and priorities, and developing a guide for action. Planning is a concentrated effort to reach a balance between the natural environment and residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural development. A plan is a guide for public officials and private citizens to use in making informed decisions that will affect their community. And finally, planning is a process that helps a community prepare for change rather than react to it.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Taycheedah Comprehensive Planning Committee will meet on Wednesday, September 9^th 2020, at 6:00 p.m., at the Taycheedah Town Hall, W4295 Kiekhaefer Parkway, Fond du Lac, for the purpose of making a recommendation to the Taycheedah Town Board regarding the adoption of the Town of Taycheedah Comprehensive Plan.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that an Open House will begin at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, September 9^th, 2020, at the Taycheedah Town Hall, W4295 Kiekhaefer Parkway, Fond du Lac, for the purpose of presenting the Town of Taycheedah Comprehensive Plan.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Taycheedah Town Board will conduct a public hearing on Wednesday, September 9^th, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., at the Taycheedah Town Hall, W4295 Kiekhaefer Parkway, Fond du Lac, for the purpose of gathering testimony pertaining to the Town of Taycheedah Comprehensive Plan.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Taycheedah Town Board will conduct a special meeting of the Town Board, on Wednesday, September 9^th, 2020, at the Taycheedah Town Hall, W4295 Kiekhaefer Parkway, Fond du Lac, immediately following the public hearing, for the purpose of considering and taking action on the Town of Taycheedah Comprehensive Planning Committee’s recommendation, the oral testimony presented during the public hearing and written testimony received prior to the conclusion of the public hearing, and to adopt the Town of Taycheedah Comprehensive Plan.

The draft Town of Taycheedah Comprehensive Plan may be viewed in the Taycheedah Town Clerk’s Office, located in the Town Hall.
